Mareike Dobewall is a composer, vocal artist and director working in the performing arts. In autumn 2025, she was artist-in-residence at Glenkeen Garden. There she developed a ‘Glenkeen Nature Score Leporello’ consisting of three visual scores based on patterns found on site. They are accompanied by nature sound recordings to inform the performers’ sonic imagination with site-specific sound.

Ensemble Modern will perform the works for a Frankfurt audience for the first time. It is one of the world’s leading ensembles for contemporary music. Founded in 1980 and based in Frankfurt am Main, the ensemble is currently made up of 18 soloists and is organised along democratic lines. The musicians, who come from Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, India, Japan, Switzerland and the USA, make collective decisions on their projects, collaborations with other artists and all financial matters. Ensemble Modern’s artistic spectrum encompasses music theatre and dance theatre, multimedia formats, chamber music, and ensemble and orchestral concerts. Tours and guest performances take Ensemble Modern to renowned festivals and major venues in Germany and around the world.
