  • International projects that take place across borders or in other countries

  • Individual case-by-case assistance, e.g. in the event of illness or for educational purposes

  • Educational trips

  • Grants for construction projects (new builds, conversions, renovations)

  • Commercially oriented projects or institutions

How we support

The Crespo Foundation actively approaches organizations and independently searches for funding partners that pursue common impact goals with their initiatives.

We attach particular importance to ensuring that the organizations we support respond to specific needs, achieve sustainable impact and work with solutions that are transferable to other contexts.

As a consumer foundation, we enter into large and multi-year partnerships, accompany our funding partners and support their further development - especially with regard to their impact orientation, financial sustainability, scaling and professionalization. We know that these aspects have different weightings in our thematic areas, from art to educational opportunities.

Regionally, we focus on Frankfurt, Hesse, the Rhine-Main region and, as a thematic supplement, also on nationwide funding.

The Crespo Foundation is committed to helping people develop their creativity and build confidence in their own abilities. We encourage people to take responsibility for the future and thus contribute to a humane and open society. To this end, we focus on the areas of educational opportunities, cultural education, personal empowerment and art.

The most important target groups for funding are Children and young people, artists, women and girls, people with a history of flight and migration.

Please first submit a 1-2 page outline of your project to us, detailing the following: name of the initiative, description, target group(s), impact objectives, contact details, planned duration, total budget and requested funding amount. We will check the outline and then get back to you. This may take a few weeks due to the volume of funding requests we receive.

If your project appears eligible for funding and can add to our portfolio in a relevant area, we will ask you to submit an application.
