Ben Livne Weitzman is a curator and writer. He is the co-founder of WAVA, a non-profit augmented exhibition platform. Ben earned his Master’s in Curatorial Studies from the Städelschule and Goethe University in Frankfurt, and his Bachelor’s degree from the Interdisciplinary Honours Program in the Humanities and the Arts at Tel Aviv University. As a curator, Ben manages the Crespo Foundation’s ‘Glenkeen Garden’ artist-in-residence program in West Cork, Ireland, as well as its accompanying exhibition program, ‘The Glenkeen Variations’. Noteworthy exhibitions he has curated include ‘Apparitions’, the augmented expansion of the 36th Bienal de São Paulo (2025); ‘The Orangerie’ (2024) and ‘DEMO-’ (2023) in Frankfurt’s public space; ‘After Nature’ (2025) and ‘The Glenkeen Variations: ArtNature/NatureArt’ at the Crespo Open Space in Frankfurt; ‘Framing Movements’ at the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2021, 2022, and 2024); and ‘In-visible Realness’ at PS120 Gallery in Berlin (2019). An Editor-at-Large at PASSE-AVANT, Ben’s writings have appeared in various catalogues, publications, and magazines, including Arts of the Working Class, Ocula, Mousee, and Frieze.

Chris has been working in Glenkeen Gardens since 2020 and currently holds the head gardener position. Born in West Cork, Chris studied Bachelor of Science (Honours) Ecology at Bangor, University of Wales. She has spent the last twenty years as an ecologist and gardener all over Ireland. She has a strong passion for education outside of the classroom and introducing people to a positive relationship with their natural environment.

Kathy joined the Crespo Foundation team at Glenkeen in 2021 to help establish and manage the Art Residency Programme. She now serves as Residency and Real Estate Manager at Glenkeen, overseeing the residency programme while supporting the development and stewardship of the estate. Originally from the UK, Kathy moved to Ballydehob in 2003 and has since worked extensively in community development and community arts initiatives across West Cork. She holds a BA in Social Policy, Administration and French from the University of Leeds in the UK and is committed to building more connected communities through creativity, collaboration and inclusive engagement.

Lena Sobczinski graduated in Frankfurt with a bachelor’s degree in German and empirical linguistics. Between 2017 and 2020, she worked in events and guest management at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt. This was followed by positions in events and fundraising at the Museum MMK für Moderne Kunst and in the communications department of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company. A freelance position for the Crespo Foundation as part of the pilot phase of the ‘Glenkeen Garden Residencies’ was followed in 2023 by a position as executive assistant to the Crespo Foundation’s board. Since summer 2025, she has been working as a consultant for art and exhibition management at the Crespo Foundation.
