Prof. Christiane Riedel

Prof. Christiane Riedel studied History of Art and Architecture and Literature at the universities in Karlsruhe und Hamburg. From 1992, she spent five years as Director of the German Association of Craftsmen (DeutscherWerkbund) Baden-Württemberg before assuming the management of the Lower Saxony Research Association for Gender Studies in Science, Engineering and Medicine (Niedersächsischer Forschungsverbund für Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung in Naturwissenschaften, Technik und Medizin) (NFFG) – a research facility of the State of Lower Saxony in Hanover. In 2002, she transferred to the ZKM | Centre for Art and Media (Zentrum für Kunst und Medien) Karlsruhe in which she held the position of CEO.

Since October 2020, Christiane Riedel has been Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Crespo Foundation. Since 2012, she is honorary professor at Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe (course Cultural Management & Cultural Law).

Dr. Dettloff Schwerdtfeger

Dr. Dettloff Schwerdtfeger studied Musicology, Italian and Phonetics (M.A.) as well as Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) at the universities in Freiburg i. Br. and Cologne. In 1997, he founded the Stockhausen Courses in Kürten, together with Karlheinz Stockhausen. Following a period as consultant with the Integrated Consulting Group / Culturplan (Krefeld / Graz), he was appointed Managing Director of the Leipzig Bach Archive foundation in 2006 and, from 2013, simultaneously held the office of Artistic Director of the Bachfest Leipzig. From 2016, alongside Artistic Director Nike Wagner, he served as Commercial Director of the Beethovenfest Bonn and, at the same time, sat on the Supervisory Board of the Beethoven Jubiläums Gesellschaft Bonn.

Since January 2021, Dettloff Schwerdtfeger has been Director of Finances, Organisation and Personnel of the Crespo Foundation.
